THESE RESCUERS NEED HELP – THESE DOGS NEED HELP !!!!!
The pictures are graphic, but they tell the tale like no words can. Most
of these are pictures of dogs that Mirta has fed and known, but could
not rescue because we don’t have the places to put them nor the money to
take care of them. This is just a fraction of the pictures that we have.
There are only a handful of people that rescue these dogs in Homestead
and the Everglades. We need help.
Unfortunately, this is South Florida’s claim to fame. Dead animals that
the community turns a blind eye. Our elected officials so nothing, our
citizenry ignores……. please share this with people who might not
know and would care if they did know. Share this with your commissioners
and tell them we want change. We want stricter animal cruelty laws, we
want ENFORCEMENT of animal cruelty laws. The way people treat animals
here is barbaric.
There is no small solution. Awareness and education is a huge component.
Please help us spread the word that we need help.
We are pleading for help from outside our community. We just have no
space or resources to handle this alone. We can transport to reputable
rescues outside our area and outside the state.
