I am so upset…
I’m in Vicksburg, Ms and just got word that there is a pit bull holding facility in Ellisville, Ms (near Hattiesburg).
Someone just happened to come up on and realized there were pits in there. The City workers told the person that they hold the dogs here, due to BSL law in The City, for 5 days and then they are euthanized.
People never knew what this building was, many just thought it was a storage building of some sorts. The building is made of concrete with no air conditioner.
What really ticks me off is this is a “CITY FACILITY”, wth????
Come on Mayor, Tim Waldrup.. this is cruelty for these dogs with the extreme temperature that we have down here.
Please share so this will get the attention that it needs.
This facility needs to be SHUT DOWN!!!

Please feel free to reach out to them to express your honest views about the treatment of these animals. Bear in mind that if we did this to one of our animals that we’d be arrested for animal abuse. So, why is it okay for government authorities to treat these animals this way and get away with it?
