    • Hello, I am writing from Saudi Arabia, and it is now 3:11 and class has finished. Yes, we have classes on your weekends – Saturday is our Monday – that said – reviewing the FB chain of discussion – the dog is still out there – resisting being captured because she’s scared – although several people are trying to capture. They have obtained a large kennel crate – and are making arrangements for foster – until vet eval – treatment if needed – and then a home – someone dumped this dog on the road and left it. Everyone is very upset about it, and anyone within range is trying to calm, and capture this elderly dog. So, although there is no word yet that the dog has allowed itself to be taken by the would be rescuers – people are trying – and will continue to try until they are successful.

      • The dog escaped from the home while the families’ search paralleled that of the local community who saw the dog lying in a busy road & thought the dog had been dumped. Local rescue groups moved into action to capture the frightened senior citizen and were successful – while the family – continued their search without results – but, posted notes everywhere. Eventually, all parties found each other and the dog was successfully reunited with the frantic family. It has a happy ending that I like sharing. Yayy..

  1. There had to be several cars drive by and see this old beautiful dog laying in the road why was it did not anybody stopped and picked her up and if you couldn’t keeper you could’ve drove in a pet clinic pet hospital and dropped her off and said that some other driver you seen just drop her off and leave her in the middle of the road do you not have a fucking heart that beats in your body what is Wrong with you people??? What are you afraid that she would’ve dirtied your car or your clothes are taking up too much of your time that you couldn’t have just picked her up and taking her to a vet clinic a police station anywhere or just set them aside of the road till you called 911 really wasn’t that much of a bother to you people!!’ I don’t get how you people could see an elderly dog that was just dropped off out of a car and that car just took off you guys must have ice water running through your veins are you don’t care or you have a so fucking what buttoning your head… I am so Disgusted at the human race you guys have no heart no carry no nothing no wonder this world is going to the fucking shits. People you need to open your hearts and get some warm blood running through your veins you need to start carrying you really do there so much hate so much hurt so much tragedy going on in this world did you guys see a helpless elderly dog laying in the road and you just leave it there you guys ought to be ashamed of yourselves because I’m embarrassed and ashamed for the people that live in that area…

    • Actually – people tried to catch the dog – but, the dog was frightened – and would run away from efforts to capture – and then when exhausted would lie down – this went on for hours – even as passing traffic captured pictures of the dog – because the dog chose to settle in the middle of a very busy street rendering the would be rescuers in a quandry as to what to do – every time they approached – the dog went deeper into the road – the cars behind – could not see what was going on – so the cars that could see – were forced to move forward. It took the rescuers 24 hours to catch the dog – and another 10 – for the rescuers and the family to connect – so that the dog was returned home. Fairly frisky senior citizen…. but, lots of activity generated… for this beloved member of our community.

      • Sorry but i’m getting a bit confused with the posts above. Has this dog been rescued or are you talking about a similar case that had a happy ending? Thanks Ann x
