★SLEEPY HOLLOW RESCUE HAS SAVED DIXIE!★
PLEASE HONOR PLEDGES VIA PAYPAL TO: SleepyHollowst@aol.com
-Dixie has pneumonia and is in no condition to care for her babies. The puppies are being fostered by a vet tech through PCAS and are safe as well.
THANK YOU JO-LYNN ROMEO FOR SAVING DIXIE ♥
It has been 13 days since she arrived at Pasco County Animal Services. She had 10 puppies at the shelter about one day after her arrival. Since then, 4 of the puppies have died. The family has $480 in pledges for a rescue that can save their lives. With each additional minute that they have to sit in the shelter, their chances of survival dwindle. A shelter is a very terrible environment for new born puppies. A volunteer has stated that the mom is not aggressive and took treats nicely from the volunteer when she offered.
PLEASE help us reach out to ANY AND ALL rescues. PLEASE continue to share for pledges, perhaps if a rescue knows they will be able to financially cover all costs, they will be more willing to step up.
As always, thank you to all of you for being the voice for those who cannot speak for themselves. Now, let’s get this family OUT!!!!!
D-0015, “Dixie” Pit Mix, gray fawn, adult, female, stray, approx. 40-50lbs. Scared at the shelter environment, good on a leash, does not appear to be old, no reaction to other animals while going through the kennel. Arrived at shelter on 4/16.
